The Georgia Fire Academy is conducting an Introduction to Community Risk Reduction course November 30, 2022 in Forsyth from 08:00 - 17:00. 

 

This course is a one-day course that is intended to provide a basic understanding of Community Risk Reduction, how to evaluate the risks and hazards that exist in a

community, and create successful CRR initiatives in any community.  The students will also be introduced to evaluation concepts as well as steps to creating an organizational culture that embraces

CRR.

The target audience for this course may include, but not be limited to the following:   Fire/EMS personnel with an interest in advancing risk-reduction efforts in their community, including firefighters, investigators, inspectors, educators and others.  Law enforcement personnel with an interest in advancing risk-reduction efforts in their community, including community relations officers, school resource officers, patrol officers, Emergency managers, allied health, and community service personnel.
