2027 Georgia Fire Service Call for Papers

Help Lead the Future of Georgia's Fire Service

Georgia Fire Service call for papers poster with red-black theme and microphone; submit a presentation or speaker request

The stage is set, and we need YOU on it.

The Call for Papers is now open for two of the most important gatherings in our profession:

🔥 Spring: Georgia Fire Chiefs Conference

🔥 Fall: Georgia Fire Service Conference

Every great conference starts with great content, and the best content comes from people like you: the chiefs, officers, firefighters, instructors, and specialists who live this job every day. What you've learned on the fireground, in the firehouse, in the budget meeting, and in the community is exactly what someone else in this room needs to hear.

SUBMIT YOUR PRESENTATION

Have a lesson learned, a program that works, or a fresh idea that could change how we serve? Share it. Help lead the future of our firefighters.

KNOW A SPEAKER WHO WOULD BE GREAT?

We all know that one person who can command a room, whether they're a colleague, a mentor, or a fellow chief from across the state. Send them the link and encourage them to submit.

HAVE A NATIONAL SPEAKER YOU'D LOVE TO SEE IN GEORGIA?

Tell us! If there's a nationally recognized speaker you've heard and want to bring home to Georgia, pass along the link or submit their name and topic so we can reach out.

TOPICS WE'D LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT

Not sure if your idea fits? It probably does. We welcome submissions on topics such as:

• Leadership and chief officer development

• Fireground tactics and operations

• Training and professional development

• Health, wellness, and mental resilience

• Recruitment and retention

• Community risk reduction and fire prevention

• EMS and special operations

• Emerging technology and innovation

• Budgeting, administration, and legislative issues

• Lessons learned from real incidents

It only takes a few minutes, and your submission could shape the experience for hundreds of Georgia fire service professionals.

Here's our ask:

1. Submit a class of your own.

2. Forward this email to someone who should.

3. Share the link with your department, your training officers, and your professional network.

The more voices we hear, the stronger our fire service becomes. Don't wait. Submit today and let's build these conferences together.

Stay safe, stay sharp, and we'll see you in Georgia!

P.S. Know someone who's been saying "I should present at a conference someday"? Forward them this email. Someday is now.
