Fire Service Leaders, 

 

The Georgia Fire Academy is hosting the course Life Safety Code March 8-10th, 2022. This 3 day course is being held at the at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center – Pickens Campus, 339A West Church Street;

Jasper, GA 30143

 

This 24-hour course will provide the student with an introduction and overview of the Life Safety Code and how it applies to fire inspections and code enforcement activities.  Students will review the specific requirements of each section of the code, determine building and fire protection requirements, egress requirements, and apply the code to practical activities based on occupancy and hazard classification.

 

This course is designed for public safety personnel who will have the primary responsibility of conducting Fire and Life Safety Code Inspections and Fire Service Plans Review.
