We’re excited to share that registration for the 2025 Georgia Fire Service Conference will be opening soon!

📍 Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC), Forsyth, GA

 

Make sure to mark your calendars for an action-packed week of hands-on training, dynamic speakers, and valuable networking opportunities. More details on sessions and registration will be available soon.

 

Important Registration Notes:

  • GPSTC Registration Required for Credit: In addition to conference registration, you must also register with GPSTC to receive course credit.
  • HOT Classes: If you're planning to participate in Hands-On Training (HOT) classes, each class requires separate registration through GPSTC. These classes have limited availability and fill quickly!
  • Lodging Information: Hotel details will be included in the registration packet. GPSTC will also offer a limited number of dorm rooms on-site.

Exhibit Hall open on Wednesday and Thursday

Make plans to visit the Exhibit Hall on Wednesday afternoon during the opening reception from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 9:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. to interact with the conference vendors and learn more about their products, services and programs.

Nominate a Deserving Firefighter for Recognition

 

Each year, the Georgia Association of Fire Chiefs (GAFC) and the Georgia State Firefighters Association (GSFA) annually recognize firefighters at all levels for their leadership, accomplishments and acts of valor. Award recipients will be announced at the 2025 Firefighter Recognition Day. Take a look around your department and consider nominating someone today!

Recognize Fallen Firefighters

Submit Information for the Annual Memorial Service

 

Each year as part of the Georgia Fire Service Conference, firefighters who passed away during the previous year are recognized at the annual Memorial Service, scheduled this year for Thursday, October 2nd at 12:30 p.m. Firefighters do not have to have been a member of the Georgia Association of Fire Chiefs or the Georgia State Firefighters Association to be recognized. 

 

If you have lost a current or retired member of your department since the last conference (September 2024), please submit their information so that they may be recognized. All information is due by August 31, 2025.
