GSFA Annual Award Nominations Due June 30th

 

Since 1972, GSFA has recognized firefighters through its annual recognition program.  Award recipients will be recognized at the 2025 Firefighters Recognition Day. Recognition is given for the following categories:

 

  • Firefighter of the Year
  • Rookie of the Year
  • Instructor of the Year
  • Company Officer of the Year
  • Educator of the Year
  • Life Saving Valor Award

 

All nominations must be received no later than June 30, 2024. For nomination forms and more information,  click here.


2024 Georgia State Firefighters Association

Fire Department Grant & Scholarship Applications 

Application Deadline: June 30, 2024

 

Applications must be received by GSFA by the deadline. A drawing will be held at the 2024 Georgia Fire Service Conference scheduled for November 11-15, 2024 in Augusta, Georgia from those individuals that submit qualified applications meeting all scholarship eligibility & grant requirements. GSFA will award up to six scholarships in the amount of $500 and up to two grants in the amount of $1000.
