NVFC Health & Safety Training Summit

Attention Georgia volunteer firefighters, EMS providers, and rescue workers! The National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) is hosting its next Health & Safety Training Summit on Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25 in Orlando, FL. The conference focuses on critical topics impacting first responder wellbeing and is open to all volunteer firefighters, EMS providers, department leadership, training officers, and other fire department personnel.

This premiere educational event is an opportunity to learn from leading subject matter experts as well as share ideas and best practices with responders from across the U.S. Sessions address a wide range of fire service health and safety topics, including fireground safety, behavioral health, leadership, roadway safety, risk reduction, and more. The conference will also feature keynote speakers and networking opportunities.

To help with the costs of attending, travel stipends are available for NVFC members. The stipend will reimburse up to $750 for conference related expenses, including transportation/mileage, lodging, and the registration fee. There's only a few days left to apply for a stipend - the deadline is April 15. Not a member? Join for just $21 at www.nvfc.org/join
