Submit Your Nomination to Serve on the GSFA

Board of Directors or as a District Vice President

GSFA is accepting nominations for individuals to serve on its Board of Directors. Board members will serve two year term that runs from August 2026 - 2028. For more information on the responsibilities of each position, click here.

Completed Board of Directors nomination forms must be received by June 27, 2026. All seats on the Board of Directors are open for nominations. 

The incoming President will name District Vice Presidents soon after the Georgia Fire Service Conference. GSFA is expanding its District Vice President program and would like to have several people serving in this role in each district. In addition to the responsibilities listed in the bylaws, district vice presidents will serve as part of GSFA's Membership Growth Committee which is working on member engagement strategies and expanding association participation across the state.
