Golf Tournament - Georgia Public Safety Memorial Fund

Georgia Fallen Heroes' Classic Golf Tournament

As we gear up for the upcoming Georgia Fallen Heroes' Classic Golf Tournament, I am writing to request your assistance in participation and/or promotion of this significant event.

The Georgia Fallen Heroes' Classic Golf Tournament stands as a testament to honor and remember the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our state. All proceeds will be donated to support the Georgia Public Safety Memorial Fund.

With your support, we can ensure that this year's tournament receives the attention and participation it deserves. There are several ways in which you can help us promote the event:

  1. Social Media Promotion: We kindly ask that you share the attached flyer regarding the tournament on your organization's social media platforms.
  2. Email Outreach: Please consider sending out emails to your respective networks and contacts, encouraging them to participate in the tournament or support it through donations and sponsorships.
  3. Flyer Distribution: If feasible, distributing flyers in your offices can significantly increase awareness about the tournament.
  4. Word of Mouth: Personal recommendations and endorsements go a long way. We encourage you to spread the word about the tournament among your colleagues, friends, and family members who may be interested in participating.

Your assistance in promoting this event and/or participation is greatly appreciated.

As we enter the closing days of this Legislative Session, we have some decisions to make about HB 451, PTSD Insurance Coverage. While this bill was originally designed to be similar to our Firefighter Cancer Insurance, it has been changed a few times as it has passed through committees. The House passed it with a reduction in lump sum benefit from the original $10,000 to $3,000 and a long-term disability benefit.
