The Georgia Fire Academy is hosting the course The Dispatcher’s Role in Mayday Situations on December 5, 2024 at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth, GA.

 

This four-hour course will present information about different scenarios that would warrant a firefighter issuing a "Mayday" call. Attendees will examine what the communications officer's role is during such an event. Students will also have an opportunity to view the Fire Service's demo acting out various fire-related situations.

 

Target Audience: Communication Officers, CTO's, and Supervisors.
