Firefighter Competition Update

We are excited to welcome everyone back to Augusta for the 2024 Georgia Fire Service Conference, scheduled for November 12-15, 2024. This annual gathering is always a valuable opportunity for our community to connect, learn, and share in our mission.

However, we want to inform you of a change regarding the firefighter competition. After meeting last week, the boards made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s competition. With Augusta heavily impacted by Hurricane Helene, there simply isn’t the available manpower to assist with running the event.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility during these challenging circumstances, and we remain committed to making this year’s conference a meaningful and engaging experience for all attendees.
