Exhibit Hall open on Wednesday and Thursday

Make plans to visit the Exhibit Hall on Wednesday afternoon during the opening reception from 4:45 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. and again on Thursday from 9 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. to interact with the conference vendors and learn more about their products, services and programs.

 

Firefighters from the local area who are not registered for the conference but would still like to visit the Exhibit Hall are welcome to join us during the Thursday hours (lunch will only be provided for conference participants).

Nominate a Deserving Firefighter for Recognition

 

Each year, the Georgia Association of Fire Chiefs (GAFC) and the Georgia State Firefighters Association (GSFA) annually recognize firefighters at all levels for their leadership, accomplishments and acts of valor. Award recipients will be announced at the Awards Reception at the Georgia Fire Service Conference on Friday, August 25th. They are also invited to receive a special commendation from Governor Brian Kemp during the 2024 Firefighter Recognition Day. Take a look around your department and consider nominating someone today!

Recognize Fallen Firefighters

Submit Information for the Annual Memorial Service

 

Each year as part of the Georgia Fire Service Conference, firefighters who passed away during the previous year are recognized at the annual Memorial Service, scheduled this year for Thursday, August 25th at 8 a.m. Firefighters do not have to have been a member of the Georgia Association of Fire Chiefs or the Georgia State Firefighters Association to be recognized. 

 

If you have lost a current or retired member of your department since the last conference (September 2022), please submit their information so that they may be recognized. All information is due by July 15, 2023.
