SCHOLARSHIPS

Each year the GSFA gives eight (8) $500.00 scholarships to firefighters and their family members. The deadline for submission of applications for the scholarship is April 15th each year. The application can be downloaded from our website.
 
AWARD RECOGNITIONS
Each year the GSFA presents awards for Lifesaving Valor, a Firefighter of the Year, a Rookie of the Year, and an Educator of the Year. The deadline for submission of applications for the awards is April 15th each year. The application(s) can be downloaded from our website.  Award recipients are recognized at the annual banquet during the GSFA annual conference and by the Governor during the Firefighters Recognition Day ceremonies at the State Capitol in February each year.
 
LINE OF DUTY DEATH BENEFIT
A $1,000 Line of Duty Death Benefit is available through the GSFA for a member who is killed in the line of duty.
 
GSFA FIRE DEPARTMENT GRANTS
Each year the GSFA awards four (4) $500.00 grants to member fire departments. The deadline for submission of applications for the grants is April 15th each year. The application can be downloaded from our website.
